Rule out diabetes: Fluctuaing vision may be due to multp[ile causes- the most serious being diasbetes. If the dimmer vision lasts for hours to minutes this amy point to diabetes. Dry eye may cause momentary changes. Spasm of the focusing muscles in the eye may cause blurring as well.
