You will be fine: Depending on what surgical procedure you are having and the type of sedatives and analgesics you are having, when having surgery under local anesthesia with IV sedation, you are sleepy but arp usable but the local anesthetic injected keeps you comfortable and usually some of the IV agents that the anesthesiologist uses, you are amnestic of intra operative events. He/she can control this by agents.
