Sedation or anesthesia per se would not damage the ulnar nerve, however, the nerve is superficial and could get injured due to poor positioning of the arm during the period of sedation. If it is getting better, you may watch and wait. If the sensory deficit persists, see your doctor.

Agree with Dr. Singh, as the ulnar nerve might can compressed at the elbow due to inappropriate positioning and cushioning. In most cases, this will remit over 3-4 weeks, but if more persistent, get attention.
