Get good nite's rest: If you had a bad day today, get plenty of rest/sleep so you can try again tomorrow. Huge list of things that could mess you up, but that list changes a bit depending upon if just today or for a while now. If just today, then lack of sleep ranks high up there. Some bad news received today could do that too. Stress over looming deadline. New medication? New dietary supplement? Infection? Hangover?
