Disolve: The body has a system that is designed to dissolve the clots. However, sometimes the body needs our help with blood thinners to keep it from propagating/expanding while it is dissolving it. The process can take a few days, weeks or months. Sometimes, the clot become scarred up (fibrotic or organized) and does not move or change (chronic clot).
