Doubtful: It is very hard for us to change the natural shape of our bodies. Exercise does little to effect targeted, specific changes to our bodies. Running can help you burn calories which can lead to generalized loss of body fat and weight loss. It can also tone the muscles in your legs and butt. I say go for it & make peace with your body shape.
