Excellent news: This means that you will need a pap smear and hpv test in 12 months. It means that the abnormal pap results do not indicate cancer or pre-cancer. It's a good thing.

I recently had a smear and it has come back abnormal. It says HPV and severe Dyskaryosis. Im being sent an appointment for a Colposcopy which of course I will attend. Does this mean I have cancer. I know I need to wait for the results but Im worried?
