A member asked:

I got my colposcopy results back and it says scant fragments of histologically unremarkable endocerix rare atypical squamous, favor reactive changes. what does this mean?

"unremarkable endocervical cells" and rare "squamous reactive atypia" essentially is a normal colposcopic finding. A repeat pap smear in a year or so will provide reassurance .

No cancer was seen in the specimen submitted for examination. The specimen may not have been entirely adequate and if your doctor advises , get a repeat colposcopy. Wish you good health!
