Hi docs, would afib make my heart failure worse, if i don't get it cardioverted?

A fib: Yes. Atrial fibrillation could worsen your heart failure if rate is not well controlled. Recent data shows that at least one attempt of cardioversion should be attempted for a fib patients. If atrial fibrillation is secondary to heart failure then it could be difficult to maintain in rhythm even with antiarrythmic drugs after cardioversion.
