A member asked:

I have congestive heart failure and afib. how much sodium is safe for me?

Unless you're in overt congestive heart failure, as a general rule I'd recommend avoiding obviously salty foods and never add salt to your food. Less than 2 grams ( 2000 mgs) of salt a day would be moderate sodium restriction. Read labels on cans & packages of food.
