Best to balance: Honey, I believe, does have medicinal properties. Mostly this is for treating skin diseases and wounds - there are scientific studies now proving this. Of course our medical ancestors believed that too- going back through the ages to Hippocrates etc. I like honey in herbal teas, such as ginger tea for sore throats. That's what I would stick with. The body thrives on moderation - so not too much.
