what can removable braces look like?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Arnold Malerman
52 years experience Orthodontics
Many types: Some are metal frameworks that pop in and out. Some look like clear plastic trays. Some look like retainers, or two retainers connected together. Know that in the hands of a qualified orthodontic specialist removable orthodontic appliances are only half as effective as fixed appliances (braces), and are often as costly as braces or more so. See an orthodontist for evaluation.
