Varies/See a doctor: In a woman your age, there are a multitude of reasons ranging from psychiatric (do you have a history of depression) to hormonal (these could be symptoms related to PMS or menopause) to social-related (what's your family/living situation, any recent losses?). If you are experiencing these feelings along with thoughts of harm (to self or others), I recommend calling your PCP or 911 immediately.
