Depends: I respect the morality of vegetarianism but the best studies have found the actual health benefits (longevity, any major category of disease) to be elusive. We autopsy pathologists know that atherosclerosis can be reversed by lifestyle, but i would caution you very strongly against thinking that a vegan diet will be magic and ignoring fitness other evidence-based interventions.
