Depends: Depending on how much weight you have lost, how fast you lost it, and your skin in general, you may have too much skin for the body to 'return to normal'. It is possible that surgery to remove the extra skin is your only choice. However, without an exam, i can not answer your question accurately. See your doctor to help you decide what to do.

Hi. There are minimally invasive non-surgical and surgical procedures that can help remove excess skin after weight loss. At Memorial Plastic Surgery, we offer liposuction and tummy tucks, as well as treatments such as microneedling and cool sculpting. Contact a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area who can properly assess your goals and suggest the best treatment option for you.
