Alterations to fit: Best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon as there may be several options for tailoring the excess skin to get your "suit" to fit properly. There are some non-surgical modalities to consider, but an exam and analysis of your skin elasticity will be needed to determine if you are a candidate for these. It is recommended you get down to your lowest stable weight before proceeding.

Body Contouring: Body contouring procedures after massive weight loss are the answer to the excess skin left behind. Body contouring encompasses multiple procedures for arms, thighs, abdomen, buttocks, neck, breast, etc... Different combinations can be performed at the same time. Consult a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in post-bariatric body contouring.

Skin re-draping Sx: This is becoming a sub-specialty of cosmetic surgery, since many people wish to reshape their body after weight loss. The arms, waist,, thighs, and buttocks can be re-draped with surgical procedures done as an out-patient. Incision areas are treated with newer sutures and scar lotions with growth factors, making these area heal remarkably well. Contact your local cosmetic surgeon for consultation.
