GERD: Foods that make the stomach produce extra acid are many though you should avoid large fatty meals that take longer to digest and require lots of time and enzymatic breakdown in the stomach. You should also avoid spicy foods, foods with high acid concentration ie. Citric fruits, caffeine, and alcohol are the most common. Any lighter foods are ok chicken, rice, fish, vegetables.
