Why does a doctor put a cast on a broken arm or leg?
Broken twist and arm cast for 11 weeks. Doc recommended a second surgery so i could have full use of my wrist. Now ot says less than 45 degree. ?
My son broke his wrist near the radial artery, now it pops when he lifts his arm and has numbness in his thumb. Is this normal? The doctor splinted it until the swelling goes down to have a cast put on.
My wife brike her arm last saturday and got screws and a plate put in. Her hand feels like it is burning and the cast is very loose her doctor is on leave till14 aug and nobody wants to open the cast to see what is goin on. What can we do?
Dislocated both radial and ulna bone at the elbow joint. Doc is put me in a cast for 2 weeks. Does that timeframe seem normal for an elbow dislocation?
