i've severe pain in my calf but only when walking or standing. i have not injured it at all. doc has sent me for blood test what are chances it's dvt?

Ultrasound: Is there swelling or tenderness? It may still be a strained muscle. Sometimes a cyst behind the knee is the culprit. A venous ultrasound would be indicated if your calf discomfort worsens or persists. This would check for a DVT which is the main concern.
