Causes of severe bilateral calf pain while standing (relieved by rest or walking) in 58 yr old female with no dvt, no neuro, no arterial issues?

Bilateral pain: Bilateral calf pain that is relieved by rest or walking is not usually caused by a vascular problem. More likely you should investigate a spinal or back issue.

Tight and strained: The calf muscles become quite sore when they are tight. Dorsiflexion at the ankle should be 5-10 degrees. Passive stretching is advised for such a condition. Active stretching may cause more injury to the muscle and tendon. Passive means off-weightbearing. Just sit and use a towel, belt or elastic band.
