What was the : Conservative treatment that was done? There are many treatments for these conditions. Not sure why one would wait ten years to try something else......Has there been periods where pain has resolved? More info is needed.

Foot/Ankle Doc: While I do mostly upper extremity, i can tell you that you have a very complex problem, that is not easily fixed even with surgery. I strongly recommend that you see an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery rather than a podiatrist. Since you are in minnesota, you may need to go to the mayo clinic for this type of help.
