A member asked:

Is it possible to have plantar fasciitis and after a few years it just goes away?

Possible: Especially if treated or the condition that was aggrevating the Plantar was removed or resolved.

Consider Treatment : Yes. But it usually resolves much more quickly with treatment. Oftentimes, simples changes including: change of shoes/arch support; stretching; ice massage and anti-inflammatories are quite effective, esp if done earlier in the course of the problem. It is a very common foot problem but with simple changes can usually be made bearable.
