Within accuracy : Most measurements of fetal age are not accurate to any less than two weeks. Unless the discrepancy is more than this jot is unlikely to represent a problem.

Possible: Intrauterine growth retardation (iugr). This can occur from a myriad of causes but the best advice is to first visit a perinatologist for higher level fetal ultrasound. If iugr is verified the possible causes and treatments can then be discussed.
