Dr told me i have sciatica and scoliosis. he ordered an mri. i'm 17 yo. why did he order mri and how can i relieve sciatica pain?

Possibly: If the scoliosis is causing the nerve to be pinched exiting the spine it can be the cause. Also people that have scoliosis for a long time will develop arthritis faster in those areas of spine and can cause sciatica symptoms as well.
