tonsils: antibiotic 10 days for puss helped but did not clear up. swelling and puss increasing daily. neg for strep and mono what else could it be?

Repeat test: Ten days of antibiotics would eradicate a strep infection. I recommend a repeat full throat culture and another monotest, or else get an opinion from an otolaryngologist.
