A member asked:

Can benign ventricular ectopy turn into that scary sudden death heart problem?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ectopy: Benign type ventricular ectopy in an otherwise normal heart rarely is associated with sudden death. If the situation changes so that the previously benign ectopy continues to exist but now within a diseased myocardium, the situation is altered.
