How to cure an ear ache without going to doctor?

Need diagnosis: As physicians, our goal is to identify diseases that cause the ear ache. Most physicians whether in general medicine or ear specialists, would not in good conscience treat the symptom without identifying the source of your pain. Sorry, but how could we possibly know what to do with out a diagnosis. Most commonly some form of heat might relieve the pain.
