Sometimes: Usually, dry eye syndrome is treated easily with artificial teardrops. Moderate dry eye sometimes requires medicated eyedrops such as Restasis or anti-inflammatories and/or punctal plugs. However, sometimes dry eye can become so severe and debilitating that people can lose vision and have difficulty functioning normally.
