What are the differences between sjogren'syndrome and dry eyes?

Dry eyes can be from: different conditions that are manageable, and can be easily treated locally. Whereas, Sjogren's is part of an autoimmune disease spectrum involving severe dryness of the eyes, and can involve joint disease, and dry mucous membranes as well and is system wide. Management is more complex.
