Occasionally a: Patient complains about emotional blunting. However, I have found that some of the patient's that take it for anxiety - have just gotten addicted to chaos ; anxiety. They feel lost without it. They may define what would be a normal emotional state for most as inability to have emotions. Your cousin should discuss this w her psychiatrist so that medications can be optimized - especially if she has.
