Other treatements: There are two different approaches to treating anxiety, even after 10 years. Psychotherapy is a very effective option. Sticking with medication, there are other medications besides Prozac that treat anxiety and depression. A different ssri, such as zoloft (sertraline) or Celexa is an option, as well as choosing a medication from a completely different class, such as remeron.

Treatments: Agree with Dr. Feibelman. Another SSRI medication is an option or going back onto fluoxetine. Other medication classes are also an option. Equally important - have you learned non-pharmacological methods to control or reduce anxiety and depression? That is an important part of the equation.

Please discuss this with your Psychiatrist and if you are lacking confidence in your Dr. please see another for a second opinion. Also you may want to add sessions with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple forms of psychotherapy. You can have these on Zoom.
