Coverage: Most ordinary medical insurance does not include dental work. Braces are considered "cosmetic" dental work. Even regular dental insurance often does not cover that. I'd recommend you check with the orthodontist.

Not likely: Nothing is free, but especially not braces. Call your insurance carrier and see how much they will pay and how much you will pay then make a deal with your orthodontist.

Probably not: Most Dental insurance covers part of the cost fo4 treatment, not all of the cost. Most Dental Insurance has an age cap. Medical Insurance does not cover Dental procedures other than surgery. See a qualified Orthodontic Specialist for a Initial Exam (probably free), discussion of your malocclusion, treatment options, costs, and your insurance coverage.
