A member asked:

Must have asked an unclear question. 'can epididymis be felt on one testicle but not on the other one?' epididymis. not epididymitis.

Possibly: The epididymus can be felt manually by a clinical exam in many patients but not necessarily all, and sometimes one can be felt and not the other because of the positioning. Ultrasound should resolve this if necessary.

Possible: Palpating the epididymis may be more pronounced on one side compared to the other. Palpating the epididymis in general may be difficult. If you have had inflammation/infection of one, it may get more pronounced and then more easily palpable at future visits, etc. If any concern for masses, etc, and ultrasound of the testes/scrotum would assess the anatomy in question. Best wishes to you.
