Yes you can: CBC etc only rise if there is a serious infection. But lymph nodes can enlarge for many different reasons, infections being one of the common causes. Most infections in the throat commonly affect the lymph nodes but are often not associated with high blood counts. If they are continuing to increase in size, then you should get checked by your doctor.
