A member asked:

Could normal walking raise cortisol levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cortisol levels: Cortisol varies throughout the day. It is generally higher in the am vs the pm, but it is spiking up and down all day. Normal walking would not particularly elevate it, but it goes up/down all the time anyway. The more important question is why is cortisol being measured? Perhaps check with an endocrinologist.
