A member asked:

Please tell me, could a person improve their memory with vitamins?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly, BUT: This is sort of a research question: not entirely clear whether biologically active vitamins can improve memory or merely stabilize memory loss. We have a medical food, cerefolin-nac, which improves levels of folate (folic acid) and b-12 in the aging brain, and nac acts to decrease oxidation. Supplementing with inactive otc vitamins may not work as well at all. Discuss approach with your doctor.
