After fx. healed!: Fractures of the clavicle are common in children and adults . Falls and mva's are most common injury mechanisms. Getting' back on the ice' is not a good idea until the fracture is fully healed ( usually 8 wks for an adult ). Falls while skating (as u know) are common and will cause re- injury if not completely healed. See ors.( u do not want to re- fracture...Surgery will be discussed then!).
