A member asked:

Blind but then she has surgery at 22 and can see clearly again. can blindness be curable?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Some conditions can be surgically corrected with vision improvement, and others not. Obviously "she" had a correctable cause - good for her. Blindness is curable if the cause of the blindness is reversible with medication or surgery.
