Dr. Marc Neff answered

Deltoid exercise: A personal trainer at a local gym would be the best to instruct you on proper techniques to exercise and focus on your deltoid. But all muscles can be targeted. Specific to the deltoid are arm raises. Try a 10-15 lb weight, and lift arm from side to straight out from you at 90 degrees. Repeat 12 times. Do 3 sets. Can also do straight in front of you till arm at chest level. Same sets.

Deltoid exercises.: Exercises that are good for the deltoid muscle include military presses, overhead dumbbell presses, Arnold presses, front dumbbell raises, lateral dumbbell raises, upright rows. Shoot for 8 to 12 repetitions percent for the pressing movements and 12 to 20 repetitions per set for the lateral raises and front raises.
