Air in Deltoid: Usually, this does not cause a problem. If anything, you may get pain at the sight of injection from the 'pushing' on the the surrounding tissues caused by the pocket of air. The body usually just absorbs it over time. If redness or pain and soreness appears, have your doctor look at it to determine if there is any infection. Otherwise, I think it is going to be ok.
