Tetanus Vaccine: This is the most painful of the shots for vaccination. But, one cannot rule out skin infection at the site of the injection. If this area is red and swollen and warm to the touch you may have a skin infection. If all else is normal then the more you use your arm you will absorb the vaccine and the muscle will calm down.
