No: If you are being treated for either of the things these are used for - seizure disorders or bipolar disorder (and probably the latter) - alcohol is not your friend. It interferes with the levels of other drugs, reduces their effectiveness, and intoxication with alcohol is followed by increased depression, and even mania. If you are drinking, talk to your doctor about it, and keep "dose" low-one!
