Sometimes I forget who I am for a few seconds. Or who my mom is. I forget words, and never remember dinners for a few mins. Been this way since 13. Is it normal to be like this @ 18? I have autism and had brain swelling in the past multiple times.
85 yo mom has MRI showing "hippocampal atrophy without definite asymmetry" in brain. No other major issues. She has memory issues and mood changes. Could this be a normal brain considering her age? Is this likely Alzheimer's?
