Tincture of time: Cracks and fissures on the tongue are usually present all the time. You have a bad taste in your mouth, possibly from the z=pak meds themselves or from GI distress from the antibiotics. Thecracks are inconsequential and may change from time to time. Ask your dentist to take a look to make sure there is no injury. Try yoghurt for the bad taste. If it doesn't resolve in a few days call your md.
