Common finding: The ear tugging is not necessarily a reflection of treatment success. It often means the kid senses the ear drum stretched, this can be when pushed out during infection or when drawn in as the fluid leaves the middle ear space.Followup with your pcp as around 2 wks after completing meds or sooner for fever or related change in status.
