Ask your dentist: I am not aware of these symptoms associated with braces, it is best to talk to your dentist and endodontist before getting that crown. The sinking tooth? Can you elaborate, not very clear what you mean. Good luck.

Dental issue?: I'm not clear on what your are referring to when you say you have a "sinking tooth"? Regardless, these types of situations cannot be diagnosed over the internet. You need to discuss all your symptoms and concerns with a dentist who can properly and accurately answer all your questions. If you are not confident with your own dentist's treatment and advice, get a second opinion before continuing.

Forever: No Dental treatment is forever. Is "sinking tooth" the one that had root canal Rx? Was your Orthodontics provided by a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist? Did you have regular check-ups by your General Dentist before and during Orthodontic Treatment? Your General Dentist may seek consultation with Orthodontist, Endodontist, and/or Oral Surgeon. Cause of "numbness" requires investigation.

Sinking tooth?: Not sure of what that is. Facial numbness concerns me. See your dentist for a full evaluation.
