A member asked:

Painless lump on side of neck with no other obvious infection (cold, flu, ear). doc says it's nothing and won't run any tests. advice?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lymphadenopathy: This may be an enlarged lymph node, and the characteristics appreciated by your doctor have convinced them that it is nothing of concern. The major test they could run would be to biopsy and this is both risky and expensive. If you don't trust their opinion suggest you see another provider. Good luck.
