I have been diagnosed with seizure disorder. for 25 years i survived on 4 to 5 hours of sleep for my job. could this be the cause?

No: I don't think your long hours on the job caused your seizure disorder. That said, in patients with known seizures, prolonged periods of sleep deprivation can definitely aggravate their seizures.
