Psychiatrist will try me on latuda (lurasidone) ...endocrinologist does not think a good idea because i am diabetic (well controlled) advice or thoughts?

Telephone: Tell both of your dr's to call and discuss it and not make you try to play pharmacist between the two. Depending on your psych situation, the risks of low sugar may be worth it--or not. He/she needs to explain the rationale to your endocrine dr so everybody is on the same page in taking best care of you in safest fashion.

Latuda has good: stats in that area. 1% to 10% of people who take Latuda experience weight gain or a drop or an increase in appetite. Only 0.1% to 1% experience increased blood sugar levels with Latuda. Your psychiatrist may be recommending Latuda because you are Diabetic. Your specialists should talk.
