Will probably be starting latuda (lurasidone)..am well controlled diabetic...what have any dr's seen in prescribing latuda (lurasidone) to diabetics..has blood sugar been ok?

Usually: Latuda, (lurasidone) like any atypical antipsychotic can cause increased blood sugar. However, studies have shown that it's less likely to than some others in that class.

Latuda: may cause increases in blood sugar. But taking it does not mean that blood sugar control needs to decrease.
